Enter Full Belly, Radek Cerney’s delightful new bistro-style “Crazy Kitchen” located at the NW corner of 28th and Iris. Most famous in Boulder for L’Atelier, a delectible and upscale French restaurant on Pearl Street (and worthy of a separate blog post), Cerney is now offering a more casual and cost effective option with Full Belly. This new location will undoubtedly appeal to anyone who is looking for healthy, local ingredients, delicious flavors, and less crowding (i.e. everyone I know!).
At brunch, I highly recommend the Crab Cake Benedict or the Louisiana Shrimp.
For my next visit, which I’m hoping will include dinner/happy hour, the Moules Rustica are on the top of my “to try” list. (Update: I tried this dish on 5/30 and it was fabulous!) Speaking of lists, Full Belly is right next door to Arugula Restaurant, also new and due for a visit—stay tuned!
